What is a bit?
A bit is a voice snippet of up to 20 seconds. Record a thought, share a story, or reply to someone in your own voice. If you have more to say, you can connect up to ten bits in a post.
Do I have to post to use SayBits?
You can start by listening. Explore topics, follow voices you like, and play your feed. Join a conversation whenever you have something to say.
Is everything I say public?
Your public bits can be heard in feeds and discovered through topics. Circles are private, invited conversations, and Direct is for private messages. The recorder shows where your bit will go before you send it.
What are Circles?
Circles are private spaces for a group of people to share voice bits. Give your Circle a name, invite people, and pick up the conversation when it suits you. Invitees choose whether to join.
Can I listen before I post?
Yes. Review your recording, play it back, and re-record it if you want. Publishing takes a separate tap, so finishing a recording doesn’t automatically share it.
Is SayBits on Android?
Android is coming soon. We haven’t announced a release date. The website will be updated when Google Play downloads are available.
Can I record or post on this website?
This website introduces SayBits. You can play sample bits here, but recording, posting, following, and private conversations happen in the app.
How do I report something or block someone?
Open the options for the bit, message, or profile in the app to find reporting and blocking controls. You can review blocked people in Settings.
