Use your voice honestly
Share human speech. Do not post an AI-generated personality, an ordinary text-to-speech performance, or a cloned voice to stand in for a person. Do not impersonate another person or fabricate a recording that makes them appear to have said something they did not say. An “AI” label does not make otherwise prohibited voice content acceptable.
Assistive speech is welcome. People who use augmentative or alternative communication because of a speech disability may use synthesized speech to express their own words. This includes an authorized personal voice used as an accessibility aid. It does not permit imitating someone else or operating a fictional automated personality. You do not need to put a disability label on your profile or disclose medical details to other users.
Trimming, ordinary noise reduction, volume adjustment and other cleanup are allowed when they preserve the speaker and meaning. Do not edit someone else's words to deceive people. If you quote or perform another person's work, make the context clear and obtain any required permission.
We do not claim that we can reliably identify AI voices automatically. Reports are allegations for review. Accent, atypical speech, a disability or polished sound is not proof that a recording is generated.
Disagree without targeting people
Criticize ideas and discuss difficult topics without threats, persistent harassment or dehumanizing attacks. Do not promote violence or hatred against people because of protected characteristics such as race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, sex, sexual orientation or gender identity. Context matters, including quotation, education and self-description; it is not a blanket excuse for targeted abuse.
Do not encourage suicide, self-harm, eating disorders, dangerous challenges or violence. Supportive discussion of lived experience is different from instructions, encouragement or glorification of harm. SayBits is not an emergency service; seek local emergency help if someone faces immediate danger.
Protect privacy and younger users
Do not publish private contact details, credentials, identifying documents or recordings of private conversations without the necessary permission. Do not share intimate material without consent. Do not threaten exposure or pressure someone into sending recordings.
Child sexual abuse material, grooming, sexual exploitation and sexualized content involving anyone under 18 are prohibited. Pornographic or explicitly sexual material is not allowed on SayBits. Report a concern; do not download or redistribute illegal material as evidence.
Respect boundaries and ownership
An invitation is not consent to repeated contact. Respect declined requests and blocks. Do not use new accounts, Circles or public replies to get around them. Keep private conversations within their agreed audience unless you have permission or a lawful reason to share them.
Only share material you have the right to use. Do not upload pirated music, stolen recordings or someone else's work disguised as your own. Avoid scams, deceptive promotions and impersonated brands. Clearly identify a relevant commercial relationship when promoting something.
Choose relevant topics and the language actually spoken. Mixed-language speech and mistakes can happen; deliberate repeated mislabeling can be reviewed as abuse. Do not spam, buy or fabricate engagement, coordinate false reports, or repeatedly toggle saves to manipulate counts.
What happens when something goes wrong

We consider the content, context, severity, available evidence and relevant history. Depending on the case, action can include asking you to stop, removing content, or temporarily or permanently restricting the account. Serious harm may require immediate action. We do not treat popularity or the number of reports as proof.
If you think a decision was wrong, use the appeal option shown in the app or email us with the account/content reference and relevant context. Assistive-speech users can explain that privately without publishing health information. We may ask for clarification proportionate to the issue; we do not require a public medical explanation.
