Help with the app

Tell us what you were trying to do, what happened, your device/iOS version and, if relevant, the approximate time and bit link. Do not send passwords, sign-in codes or a private recording unless it is necessary and we have explained a suitable way to provide it. If a post failed, keep the recoverable recording in Bit status while we investigate.

Report content or an account

Use the in-app Report action where available. To report by email, include the exact bit/profile link or identifying details, why you believe it breaks the rules, and enough context for us to locate it. If you believe it is illegal, explain the legal concern and where it arises. Provide a contact email so we can ask for clarification or communicate an outcome where appropriate.

For a formal illegal-content notice, state that the information is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge and that you are acting in good faith. Identify the specific material, rather than reporting the whole app. Do not redistribute illegal material to provide evidence. For an intellectual-property claim, identify the protected work, the allegedly infringing content and your authority to act for the rights holder.

We assess notices based on their substance and context, not raw report counts. We may request missing details, prioritize urgent harm, restrict access or remove content, or conclude that there is insufficient basis for action. We aim to explain relevant decisions where legally permitted and proportionate, while protecting other people's privacy and safety. We do not promise round-the-clock emergency monitoring.

If someone is in immediate danger, contact the appropriate emergency services. Email and in-app reports are not an emergency channel.

Appeal a restriction or removal

Use the in-app appeal option if one is shown, or email hello@alentra.app. Include your account identifier, the affected content or decision, why you believe it is mistaken, and any relevant missing context. Tell us privately if assistive speech has been mistaken for prohibited synthetic content; no public disability disclosure is needed.

A human reviewer will consider the explanation and available evidence. We may uphold, change or reverse the decision. Submitting an appeal does not automatically restore removed content or authorize evading a restriction. The appeal process does not waive any legal rights or other remedies available to you.

Privacy and account deletion

You can initiate deletion of your SayBits account in the app. For access, correction, portability, objection, restriction or deletion questions, email us with “Privacy” in the subject if helpful. We may need proportionate verification before disclosing or changing account data. We will explain applicable limitations and respond within the period required by law.

The Privacy Policy (https://saybits.com/privacy) explains our data practices and your right to contact a data-protection authority. Firebase/Google sign-in screens may list idencomp@googlegroups.com as their configured user-support address; hello@alentra.app is the public SayBits support and privacy channel.
